At Pastael we’re always trying to reduce our environmental footprint. We can always do better, however from day one, we set out to create products that last longer, use smarter materials and reduce unnecessary waste. This is a journey and we’re committed to making progress every step of the way.

Thoughtful materials

  • Packing Cubes:  Both the exterior and interior fabrics are made from 100% recycled polyester. This has been a significant financial investment for us.
  • Protective Bags: Every Pastael product comes in a protective bag made entirely from recycled materials. 

Built to Last

The idea for Pastael came after our founders frustrations with flimsy, poorly made packing cubes that tore after just a few trips. We knew we could do better.

  • We use a tear resistant & high denier recycled polyester to ensure your packing cubes are long lasting. 
  • Our custom zipper design features a zipper tape twice the height of standard ones, making it stronger and able to withstand even the heaviest packing and longest trips.
  • By creating products that last, we help reduce the cycle of waste.

Responsible Packaging

Our packaging has eco-friendly credentials as a priority. 

  • Boxes & polymailers: Made from 100% recycled materials.
  • Tissue paper & stickers: Fully recyclable, sourced through Noissue, a company we admire for their commitment to sustainable packaging.
  • Fulfilment: Our warehouse partner is plastic free. They have an ambitious goal to be carbon neutral, making them the perfect partner for us.

Always improving

We don’t claim to have all the answers. We’re constantly learning and refining. Each new decision we make from materials to supply chain partners is guided by the same question: ‘how can we do this better for the planet?’
